#004 Podcast – Three Years Later – Part 1

Wow. That was a long break between episodes! In Episode 4 we sat down at the mic and just talked. We had no topic in mind, no prior discussion as to the content, and really didn’t expect it to end up being a legitimate episode. We ended up talking for almost two hours! When we listened to it again a few weeks later we felt to make two episodes out of it.  In our unscripted conversation we touch on a variety of things, including how our absence from the podcast came into being, our experience in community life over the last 3 years, the role of a worker, the need for revelation among Christians, God’s ways, the effects of ‘religion’ and just how enormous Christ really is.  The content weaves in and out of our own personal story as we get used to being behind the microphone again. Since we weren’t expecting to post the recording, the quality is not to the standard we would like although after many hours working on it and identifying some hardware issues, it’s not too bad. We’re very happy to be back on the airwaves to proclaim Christ and share on God’s Eternal Purpose. Be sure to tune in next time for the second half in Episode 5.

  1. Hey Guys, so good to hear your voices again! I can sense the journey and depth of what the Lord has taught you since we saw you last. Thank you for sharing – I am thirsty for more of Him!

  2. I’ve been anticipating the long awaited return of The Ancient Pathways. Christ was truly in your midst. Enjoyed hearing your voices again. All three of you.

  3. Listening to you guys is like breathing fresh air or sipping cool water on a parched sunny day. I miss you so much. I miss hearing people who sound like me in more ways than one. I’m so glad God decided to speak again and I’m so glad we get to listen.

I love and adore you three with all of my heart.

    In Him.

  4. So much light and life in one short podcast.
I’m so glad the Lord stilled you guys for those 3 years (as painful as that was)
Now when He speaks through you, there’s a weight and authority there, that was there before, but now even more so.
Love you both (and Rocky too)

    1. Thanks so much for the encouragement brother, God did a lot during those years including letting us meet you guys! We’re so grateful for that! Love and hugs to you all. D&D (&R)
